Renewable energy allows you to control your own energy production, outside of the installation costs, it’s free and you’ll never need to worry about reliability problems.

While the initial costs of solar and wind power installations can seem to be a lot, they pay themselves off in the long run as running them takes very little costs compared to running fuel-burning methods. While this may not be a concern to the end-user, utility companies increase their rates on a yearly basis due to the costs of managing fuel-burning energy plants and this, in turn, increases your bills.
